As the name implies, Sketchtank is a think tank of design concepts, with a design-first mentality, but  backed up by a firm grasp of the realities of making those concepts real.

Our co-founders are industrial designers so every doodle we present has passed through a reality filter.  Our team has backgrounds in product, lighting, graphic,  branding, furniture, interior and architectural design, which makes up the secret sauce of our creativity.

Los Angeles is a world-renowned hub for film entertainment and all the layers of creativity and specialist fabrication that comes with it. As our main location, it means that in addition to our own production capabilities, we have access to a sizable network of vetted specialist partners. There is little we can’t envision and produce.

Our efficient structure and low overhead combined with our inventiveness ensures maximum bang for the buck. We’re real world hackers, deftly combining off-the self components with custom fabrication to optimize budgets, and timelines.

Our team is international which means we have wide angle perspectives.  We bring you sight lines others don’t.
